Nana Knit?

Miss A wore her dress into town yesterday and a lady said

"Oh did your Nana knit that?"

A - "No my Mum!"  Proudly but with a puzzled look

You see the grannies in this family could not knit to save themselves.

Was I just called a 'Nana Knitter'?  DH seems to think so...

What do you all think?

WWKIP Day 2009

The gang - more stories here and here

This Thursday

Just a little reminder that we are meeting at Gelatissimo this Thursday the 18th June. Looking forward to seeing you all then. :)

So what have you all got on the needles at the moment? I am working on a lacy & cabled sock by Cookie A. I've also got plans to knit some more vests for my little man, I think this one turned out really well and it was a quick knit.

More pictures on my blog.

WWKIP Day 2009

World Wide Knit in Public day is just around the corner again.

Here’s the plan for the Annual WWKIP Day for Wagga Wagga
10am: Morning Tea
Where: Storehouse Café and Deli Address: 45 Baylis Street Phone No: (02) 6971 9334
Our booking is under “Knitting and Knotting.” We have reserved the tables on the left side of café, next to the play area, so that we can bring our little ones along if needed. Hoping to knit for a couple of hours. We can then decide if we want to knit through the afternoon.

For information on the Regressive Dinner please check on Ravelry
Thought that it would also be great if we all wear something that we have knitted as well - I know that this will be a big ask for someo of us - but socks, scarfs and beanies do count!
